Amazon Associates statement

Nugget Report is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

How the links work

• Product links on this site route through our own resolver at /go/, which adds our affiliate tag and forwards you to the retailer. That resolver is excluded from search indexing and sets a no-store cache header.
• Every affiliate link carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and opens in a new tab.
• Every buy control carries an #ad marker and a link back to this page, including when no live price is available and the button reads "Check price".
• Every commercial page carries a disclosure above its first affiliate link, not only in the footer.
• You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly.

Citations are not affiliate links

This site links to a lot of manufacturer documentation — owner's manuals, support pages, specification tables — and to government data from the EIA. Those are citations. They are never routed through the affiliate resolver and we earn nothing from them.

The distinction is deliberate and it is enforced in the code: only hosts registered as merchants are wrapped, and no manufacturer or government domain is registered as one.

What commission does not affect

• Which machines appear on this site.
• How they are ranked. Our rankings are built from published specifications against published criteria.
• What we say about them, including the required reason to skip each one.
• Whether we recommend a cheaper machine over a more expensive one. We frequently do.

The criteria and their weightings are published on the method page so that you can check a ranking against them rather than taking our word for it.

Prices

Where a price appears on this site it comes from a live data feed and is stamped with the date it was checked. Anything older than 48 hours is suppressed and the page falls back to "Check price" rather than showing a number that may have changed.

Prices at the retailer change constantly and are always authoritative over anything shown here.

What we do not do

• Sponsored posts, paid placements or paid rankings of any kind.
• Accept free products, review samples or loans from manufacturers.
• Claim to have tested products we have not tested.
• Publish reviews, ratings or testimonials sourced from anywhere else.
• Put a buy button on a page where no product is an honest answer to the reader's question. Some pages here carry none, and each says why.
