Nugget Report
Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we do not, and who else is involved.
Updated September 2026
This policy describes how Nugget Report ("we") handles information when you visit nuggetreport.com. It is written to be read rather than to be technically unfalsifiable.
What we collect
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous usage analytics | Every page view | To understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics 4, described below |
| Affiliate click events | When you click a buy link | To know which recommendations readers act on. Records the merchant, the destination and the page you clicked from |
| Name, email and message | Only if you use the contact form | To reply to you. Nothing else |
| IP address, transiently | On a contact form submission | Spam rate limiting only. Held in memory, not written to a database |
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. There is no arrangement under which we would.
- We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels or ad-tech trackers on this site.
- We do not have accounts, logins or user profiles, so there is nothing to build a profile against.
- We do not run a newsletter, so we hold no mailing list.
- We do not use a captcha service, which means no captcha vendor receives your browsing data. Our contact form uses a hidden field and a timing check instead.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and which pages people find useful. GA4 sets cookies and processes data according to Google's own privacy terms. We do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not upload or join any personal data to it.
If you would rather not be measured, browser-level ad and tracker blocking prevents the script from loading, and this site works normally without it. Nothing on nuggetreport.com is gated behind analytics.
Affiliate links
Buy links on this site route through our own resolver at /go/, which adds our affiliate tag and forwards you to the retailer. When you click one we record an anonymous analytics event noting the merchant, the destination and the page you clicked from.
Once you arrive at the retailer, that retailer's own privacy policy and cookies apply. Amazon in particular sets its own cookie to attribute a purchase. We never see what you bought, what you paid, or any payment or address information.
How the commercial side works in full: the affiliate disclosure.
The contact form
If you send us a message, we receive your name, your email address and what you wrote, delivered to us by email through Microsoft Graph. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to any list, because we do not have one.
Form submissions are rate limited per IP address to stop automated spam. That check holds an IP address in memory for up to an hour and writes it nowhere.
Third parties
| Who | What they do | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site | Standard server request logs |
| Google Analytics | Usage measurement | Anonymous page views and events |
| Microsoft Graph | Delivers contact form email | Only what you type into the form |
| Amazon | The retailer we link to | Your visit to their site after you click, under their own policy |
That is the complete list. There is no fifth party, and no data broker of any kind.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The cookies you may encounter come from Google Analytics, and from the retailer once you follow a buy link. You can block or clear both through your browser, and this site will keep working.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. In practice we hold almost nothing: unless you have emailed us or used the contact form, we have no personal data about you at all.
To exercise any of these rights, or to ask us to delete a message you sent, email info@nuggetreport.com.
Children
This site is intended for adults buying kitchen appliances. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it and the change is described here. We do not retroactively alter a policy without saying so.
